Hmm..rupanya ada cult baru orang2 nak kawen ni..haha..
I am so glad that I wasn't a bridezilla..(err..no offense to those who are, but then again if you're not, buat apa nak terasa, ye tak?)
It's not that I don't bother with details of my wedding, I did..cuma in a smaller scale. I didn't fret, what to give as doorgifts, because I knew eons ago that it has to be chocolates. Reason? Because I'd like to give something that I truly like. Out of 5 ppl, rasanya sorang je kot yang akan say no to chocs..

Anyway, I don't concentrate much on the itsy bitsy details because to me, it's the marriage that counts. Seriously. Anyway, through my experience as a bride..macam tak sempat je nak tengok2 whether the hydrangea was the exact lavender colour or the tablecloth colour is buttercup not creamish creme as I wanted..but hey, who the heck cares? I think you only care..before the ceremony..At the end of the day..what's important is the services and whether everyone's happy or not.

And I don't like dealing with fussy customer. Seriously. I prefer simple one. Or the ones that knows what they want. And most of all, the ones yang tak kedekut ngiler. (RM5 untuk cupcake souffle, customized pvc box with name and everything else, ribbon, siap semua sekali takyah lift any fingers..sounds mahal to you? Cuba you try buat 1000..senang ke tak?)

I don't care if the saying is customer is always right. Apakah? I have rights too. I have the right not to entertain you. Sebab I read that some of these bride-to-bes are bad mouthing some vendors..Well..I get down to asking the 1st question that should be asked first.."Were you nice to the people in the service industry?"..You might say..alah, ramai lagi yg buat bisnes ni..boleh je I nak hire sapa2..but did you know that ppl in the service industry are close-knit? We actually warn our friends to stay away from this customer sbb dia sangat menyusahkan orang..Huh..circle of life namanye ni..Sometimes you're up..sometimes you're down..Think about it..

So I lied about trying to update often..I meant to do it..but we all meant to do something once in a while..and just forgot to, right?

Sigh..

Esok Hari Raya!

I can't believe that Ramadhan has come to an end this year...My work is done..sampai paksa customers terima jugak2 free delivery lol...Saat macam ni I remember saying to myself "one day you will look as this as the past"..pasal kerja la..Giler penat and tak cukup tido...yang boleh cakap kat diri sendiri is just "this too shall pass"..

So...raya is tomorrow..1st time spending raya as a married woman. Dah la 1st time..terus tinggal berdua je pulak tu. Ditinggalkan keluarga huk huk huk..He's working tomorrow night. At least kerja malam..kalau siang?Aku raya sorang-sorang la jawabnya..huhuh..(tapi yang tak bestnya malam duduk sorang? huwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...)

Rendang dah ada..Ihsan Mak yang tahu sangat anak dia takkan nak buatnya..(busy la dgn kerja..howla kan?)..Ketupat palas and lemang..dah beli. Canggih giler wanita modern..Ketupat and lemang pun beli kat Jusco. Senang kerja..leh beli quantity yang sangat sedikit. InsyaAllah laki aku tak kebulur la kot esok pagi nan syahdu..hahaha..

Tahun ni start nak kasi duit raya. Tapi loqlaq..tak tukar duit raya. Kena tunggu balik sana..supplier baik punya manager bank akan kasi..huhuh..Segan pulak esok takde nak kasi duit raya..so aku pun pakat nyimpan duit singgit2 yg dapat tadi..syian budak2 yg jumpa esok..dapat duit lunyai..Eleh, dari tak dapat langsung macam aku nih...

Nak beli balang kuih raya tadi..takde berkenan..pehal ntah..tiba2 pegi beli baju lagik. Giler. Tapi baju tu jadi murah. Camne tak tergoda. Teruk tul. Penat2 nyimpan duit..senang2 je pegi belanja, rasa macam bodoh je jadi.

Hmm...malam ni last berbuka..tapi senayan cam nak puasa lagi. Hubby sound dia nak puasa..aku pun puasa la jugak kot..tapi nak jalan jauh tuuu..tengok a camne..

Tatkala aku tulis ni..anjing umah sebelah duk nangis..bunyik sebijik cam orang meraung..bende ntah..

For the past few years, the last week of Ramadhan has always been the busiest week of all. I know lots of people would say that too. I've got tons of cupcake orders to be delivered and collected on the last 2 days of fasting. I wonder if my expectation kat diri sendiri whether mampu or not make all of the cupcakes exceeds what I really can do. Huhuhuh..I hope to God he gives me strenght. I hope the weather on those last days would be pleasant sebab siksa giler to bake on a very hot day...and to deliver on a hot day..

Earlier this week I was busy with the Hilton order. Overwhelmed with Hilton. Place is so huge and exclusive. But I thought, as I went past the dining area, I think la..that I saw macam orang Melayu Islam jer yang tengah makan..hehe..I think je la..Jahat tul otak ni kan.

I wonder if baju sempat siap..sigh..my karma with tailors has never been good..Adakah sebab dari dulu Mak suruh belajar menjahit tapi aku malas dan taknak?So, kira macam balasankah ini? Huhuhu..

And now I am having the cravings...to read Enid Blyton's Naughtiest Girl In School..seems that I can never find it anywhere in KL..hmm..adakah sebab tajuknya telah dibanned di Malaysia??Bongok ler...citer tu best lagi bermoral..

This has been the longest 250 medium cupcakes...huhuhuh..maybe because it's puasa la kot..
I better write tomorrow..now I'm like so dead...nak pegi baring and zzzzzz...

After more than 2 years, and lots of delaying, I've finally gotten myself new glasses. I kinda like this new one. It's different that any of what I've had before.


I am also enjoying, yet again, the wonders of technology..walaupun digunakan secara tidak betul..Video streaming...Found this website, where I can watch Japanese Dorama...Just have to have a little patience to wait for the streaming. :) Currently watching Mr.Brain, with idol KimiTaku as the lead.

Floating Market

It's amazing how e-commerce berkembang pesat giler..
I've never bought anything yet from websites aside from ebay..
But I loveeee browsing through them. Especially gurly sites..for tudung..clothings..make ups..
And of course cupcakes and cakes...
I spend hours and hours..which is great because I don't have any busybody salesgirl tagging along behind me. And kaki also tak penat.

I think I'll make a purchase this week. I've found beautiful tudung at a website..To tell you the truth, I've been dying to buy something but usually I'd be too late..Selalu dah sold out..sigh..This time I'm praying hard that I'll get to purchase what I want (harap berkat sikit because I plan to buy one for my mum and mum in law).

And I am so interested in starting my own biz in tudung biz..tudung, fabric..Just that I'm not sure where to get the suppliers. And modal? Like my mum selalu nasihatla kot..Start small, think Big. With the traffic I get from Hey,Cupcakes! I'm sure I could attract a lot of customers.

We'll see..God, I hope I get those tudung..They look so yummy..
